Organize Your Language Learning Journey! 🗂️​

Collections are your personal filing system within Language Lit, designed to help you organize related lessons into meaningful groups. Think of collections as folders that keep your language learning materials neatly arranged and easily accessible!

Why Use Collections? 🤔​

  • Stay Organized - Group related lessons by theme, difficulty, or learning goal
  • Share Knowledge - Create and share curated learning paths with the community
  • Build Curriculum - Design your own personalized language curriculum

Creating a Collection 🛠️​

Creating a collection is simple:

  1. Navigate to the Create page
  2. Select the "Collection" tab
  3. Give your collection a descriptive name
  4. Add an optional description and cover image
  5. Click "Create Collection"

Adding Lessons to Collections 📚​

You can add lessons to your collections in two ways:

From the Collection Page:​

  1. Open your collection
  2. Click "Add Lesson"
  3. Select from your existing lessons or create a new one

From Any Lesson:​

  1. Open the lesson you want to add
  2. Click the "Add to Collection" button
  3. Select the destination collection from the dropdown

Managing Your Collections 🔄​

  • Remove Lessons - Remove lessons without deleting them from your library
  • Edit Details - Update collection name, description, or cover image anytime
  • Delete Collections - Remove collections you no longer need (lessons remain in your library)

Sharing Collections 🌐​

Share your carefully curated collections with friends or the Language Lit community:

  1. Click the menu on the collection card
  2. Click in edit to enter edit mode
  3. Change the switch to public to share your collection
